products, from menswear, womenswear, kidswear and
homeware to furniture, gifts and flowers.
If
you know the product code for any clothing or
homeware item, you can order it via the website
whether it's showcased or not, with the exception
of per una womenswear and Autograph for women.
There
are some products available in Marks & Spencer
stores that are not available on the website at
the present time. These are per una womenswear,
women's Autograph and food items, with the
exception of wine gifts, wine cases and Christmas
Hampers. Marks & Spencer are working to find
ways in which they can sell these items online in
the future.
They
try to make sure they only show you items on their
website that are available to buy. Marks &
Spencer refresh their product availability
information every 15 minutes. Occasionally, when a
product is popular or during SALE periods and
special offers, it is possible for a number of
customers to place orders for the last item at the
same time. They are working on their availability
systems to try and prevent this in the future. If
there are any problems with an order you place,
they will contact you by phone or email.
Their
products have two types of code which can be found
on product labels, in catalogues, leaflets,
advertising or in the Marks & Spencer
magazine.
A
‘T number’ is used so they can identify a
specific product and a ‘UPC’ (Unique Product
Code) is used to identify the same product but
this code specifies which size and colour it is.
